Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans, tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient referred by physicians.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans using a range of techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient treatment and monitoring progress.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle changes that promote ongoing health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment activities, and outcomes as per the requirements of healthcare regulations and our facility standards.
• Demonstrate superior customer service and foster an environment of compassion and care.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development to remain abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while contributing to broader organizational objectives for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, each presenting with varying needs, including orthopedic, neurologic, sports medicine, and post-operative rehabilitation. Your expertise will have a direct impact on their recovery process, allowing you to make significant contributions to their rehabilitation journey. You will develop strong, trusting relationships with each patient to help motivate and guide them towards exceeding their functional goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for our Senior Physical Therapist position will possess:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in various settings, particularly those that involve direct patient interaction and hands-on therapy. Experience with specific treatment methodologies relevant to the patient populations we serve is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a robust benefits package. Benefits include:
