Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their specific healthcare goals.
• Educate patients and families on safe techniques to manage their conditions and strategies to prevent further injuries, ensuring understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes, providing data-driven adjustments to treatment as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of diverse patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will tailor your approach to accommodate the unique needs of each patient, promoting physical independence and an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Florida State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a fluctuating caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to continuous learning and improving patient care practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations with a variety of physical rehabilitation needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
