Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Sanford, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients in an outpatient setting to develop individualized treatment plans that target recovery objectives.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, noting responses to treatment and adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide ongoing patient education, instructing on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and self-care techniques to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Partner with caregivers and families to ensure comprehensive understanding and support of the treatment protocols established for each patient.
• Maintain current knowledge and stay updated on advances within the field of physical therapy by participating in workshops and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from children to older adults facing diverse physical challenges. Many patients come to us recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurologic conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal formats.
• Proficiency in computer and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of healthcare professionals.
• A flexible approach to therapy and a willingness to adapt techniques based on patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While we prefer candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting, we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow within our mentoring program. Your ability to bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm for patient care is valued.

Compensation and Benefits
