Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Posture Perfect, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans aimed at improving patients' physical functions and relieving pain.
• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation potential.
• Oversight of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established treatment protocols and care plans.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic exercises, education, and motivation to patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilizing advanced modalities such as manual therapy techniques, traction, and therapeutic agents to enhance recovery.
• Regularly documenting patient progress and outcomes with precise clinical records that reflect ongoing assessments.
• Advising on prosthetic and orthotic needs, working with patients to ensure proper adjustment and use.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively plan and evaluate comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, from children to seniors, experiencing various physical challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, injury rehabilitation, and mobility improvement. Your holistic approach will address not only the physical aspects of recovery but will also emphasize patient education and engagement, supporting them through every step of their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a physical therapist in relevant settings, including acute care or home care.
• A valid and current physical therapy license in the state of Florida, with CPR certification in good standing.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make informed clinical decisions autonomously.
• A genuine commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement of therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with complex rehabilitation cases and a background in geriatric care will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and proficiency in conducting home evaluations to enhance patient independence is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

For this full-time Physical Therapist role, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
