Work Environment

The practice is conducted in an onsite outpatient office situated in the vibrant community of Astoria, NY. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet balanced workweek. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of crucial tasks aimed at delivering outstanding patient care:

• Initial Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and physical capabilities to develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Hands-On Therapy: Utilize a comprehensive toolkit of hands-on manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and advanced rehabilitation modalities to optimize patient outcomes.
• Patient Education: Empower patients with knowledge regarding recovery strategies, injury prevention, and techniques for maintaining physical wellness post-treatment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and adjustments based on ongoing assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active New York State License as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Compensation and Benefits
