Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a fast-paced rehabilitation facility that is designed to provide a supportive and engaging environment. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess their physical capabilities, mobility, and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as electrotherapy or ultrasound, to foster optimal recovery.
• Educate and motivate patients on their rehabilitation processes and self-management strategies to aid in their recovery.
• Performs regular follow-ups and adjusts treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff, to deliver holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be working primarily with adult patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, individuals with chronic conditions, and those rehabilitating from musculoskeletal issues. You will take part in a patient-centered care approach, focusing on empowering patients to understand their treatment processes and actively participating in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• At least 2 years of outpatient rehabilitation experience, demonstrating proficiency in clinical practice and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
