Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess their physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop customized treatment plans incorporating the latest evidence-based practices and rehabilitation techniques.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and motivating them towards achieving their recovery goals.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgery, chronic pain disorders, and post-operative care. Our team is committed to tailoring each patient's care plan to address their specific conditions and personal recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; preference will be given to candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience is required, underscoring a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
