Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments utilizing standardized evaluation tools to determine physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based rehabilitation techniques tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
• Utilize innovative approaches and tools such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with are varied, ranging from post-operative orthopedic cases to those dealing with chronic pain and neurological conditions. Our goal is to create tailored plans that not only address the specific physical deficits but also consider the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery. We pride ourselves on maintaining a manageable caseload of approximately 7 patients per day, allowing for ample time to provide focused and individualized care.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New York State is required.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of physical therapy practices and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific patient populations such as geriatric, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care effectively.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques (e.g., McKenzie Method, Dry Needling, etc.) would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
