Work Environment

Located in the heart of Rego Park, our clinic is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. We offer a full-time, onsite position that allows for direct interaction with our patients and a collaborative workspace with orthopedic specialists and other healthcare providers. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical history, capabilities, and rehabilitation needs. For example, you will use specific outcome measures to validate treatment effectiveness.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique goals, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, mobility maintenance, and self-management strategies to support long-term health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment modalities, and outcomes using our clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes orthopedic surgeons and primary care providers, to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, with particular emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
