Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a dynamic outpatient office setting, collaborating closely with two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our facility is designed to foster a positive and engaging atmosphere where therapists can focus on delivering high-quality care while promoting teamwork and communication. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. With an emphasis on individualized patient care, our office is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and exercise spaces that enhance treatment efficacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify the unique goals and requirements of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically treating one patient per hour, while ensuring efficient and effective session times.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that cater specifically to orthopedic conditions, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Use a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to maximize patient recovery while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to stay aligned with their rehabilitation goals.
• Document all patient interactions and care delivered comprehensively to maintain accurate records and facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Motivate and educate patients on their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Promote health education and wellness strategies within the community, enhancing the visibility of our practice and fostering healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to delivering effective patient care.
• Proficiency in developing targeted exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient practice setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining quality care and patient satisfaction.
• Experience in using advanced modalities and rehabilitation technologies to enhance treatment efficacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $100,000 and $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
