Mobility Project Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in West Orange, New Jersey. Work Environment

Working at our West Orange outpatient office offers a collaborative atmosphere where the well-being of our patients is our top priority. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation tools that foster effective treatment and recovery. The full-time position requires a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to focus your energies on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and specific needs to formulate personalized treatment strategies.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at rehabilitating orthopedic injuries and restoring mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and modalities to effectively reduce pain and enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients about their condition and treatment protocol, as well as promoting preventive measures for long-term health benefits.
• Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation patients, and those dealing with chronic pain conditions. By understanding each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation goals, you will play a crucial role in their recovery journey, helping them regain mobility and return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a robust understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions regarding licensure.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols.

Preferred Experience

Experience in utilizing the latest physical therapy technologies and rehabilitation equipment is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient care will aid in maintaining comprehensive patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure.
