Core Balance Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Core Balance Physical Therapy Clinic is a well-established private practice specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts 5,000 square feet, equipped to provide a variety of sports medicine services. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach and commitment to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Elizabeth, NJ. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable work schedule. The dynamic environment encourages continuous learning and teamwork, where staff members work closely together to support patient care. You will have access to advanced facilities and equipment, enabling you to deliver high-level treatment to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient needs, setting appropriate goals to enhance their recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing undivided attention and quality care.
• Utilize your orthopedic expertise to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, integrating a range of therapeutic techniques.
• Offer cost-effective and evidence-based interventions to improve motion and mobility, minimizing the reliance on medications.
• Educate patients on alternative non-surgical treatment options and rehabilitation strategies.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to patients' specific health objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adapting care plans as required while ensuring open communication with patients and families.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment modalities in accordance with practice policies and EMR guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance overall patient care and streamline treatment processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with private medical insurance who are experiencing orthopedic conditions. You will engage with a diverse demographic, including athletes, active individuals, and those rehabilitating from surgeries or injuries. Providing exceptional, empathetic care will be key to building trust and achieving patient engagement in their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• DPT Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey without any disciplinary actions
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
• Ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, and its efficient application in clinical practice

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to implement innovative treatment approaches using evidence-based practices
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
