Work Environment

Working onsite at our outpatient office provides a dynamic and supportive work environment where you will collaborate with a skilled team comprising two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. The atmosphere is fast-paced and rewarding, filled with opportunities to witness the transformative impact of therapy on our patients. Our weekly schedule consists of Monday to Friday shifts, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate and recognize patient goals, needs, and levels of function.
• Deliver effective physical therapy interventions, ensuring a patient load of one individual per hour, to facilitate optimal progress and engagement.
• Design comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment modalities tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery process, providing encouragement and support to enhance their dedication to treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights into treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor patient progress closely, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans accordingly based on ongoing assessments.
• Document all aspects of patient care and treatment interventions as per facility protocols and compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to deliver comprehensive services tailored to specific needs. Each patient receives personalized attention aimed at restoring their body mechanics and improving their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is mandatory, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exemplary proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to foster patient relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is strongly preferred, demonstrating prior success in achieving favorable patient outcomes.
• Experience with a diverse range of treatment protocols and interventions targeting muscle, joint, and functional rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
