We serve a diverse clientele, primarily covered by private medical insurance, within a spacious 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility equipped with advanced technologies. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), who are united in their mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Work Environment

As a PT at Open Play, you will work onsite in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that prioritizes exceptional patient care. Our rehabilitation center features modern equipment and dedicated therapy spaces designed to facilitate effective treatments. You will operate within a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for an optimal work-life balance while immersing yourself in the rewarding field of physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals, needs, and physical limitations to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Manage a consistent caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and personalized care tailored to individual progress.
• Utilize your knowledge of orthopedic outpatient settings to implement effective treatment interventions aimed at restoring mobility and function.
• Design and administer cost-effective treatment modalities that aid in improving clients' range of motion, endurance, and overall mobility.
• Advocate for non-pharmacological and non-surgical options, reducing dependency on medications and enhancing patient outcomes through therapy.
• Create comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's individual goals and physical capabilities.
• Motivate and engage patients in their rehabilitation journey, providing encouragement and support to optimize their healing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care across various settings.
• Continually evaluate treatment outcomes and modify care strategies based on patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these individuals through their recovery journeys, from initial evaluation to the re-establishment of functional independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.

• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and competency in developing effective exercise prescriptions are essential.
• Familiarity with EMR software, including WebPT, is preferred for efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Open Play Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
