Work Environment

Located in Carteret, NJ, our outpatient clinic features state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technologies to aid in patient recovery. This onsite role requires you to work directly with patients in a warm and welcoming environment, inspiring confidence as you assist them on their rehabilitation journeys. The work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, allowing a structured routine that balances patient load with personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations of patients to establish baseline mobility and function, addressing their specific needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
• Deliver hands-on support through manual therapy techniques and supervised therapeutic exercises, continually adapting approaches as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment protocols, and exercises to encourage active participation in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to track results and modify plans accordingly.
• Foster patient motivation by setting realistic goals and celebrating milestones achieved during the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care coordination, integrating input from other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest physical therapy advancements and methodologies.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Advocate for a holistic approach to wellness by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility to enhance overall patient health.

Qualifications

• An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.

• Experienced in designing and implementing effective therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual patient goals.
• Strong competencies in using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for accurate patient tracking and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient setting, is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this Full-Time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
