Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite at our outpatient office in Elizabeth, NJ. Our work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while ensuring you have ample time to focus on your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring you provide high-quality care and attention to every individual.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to apply effective interventions that improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies while focusing on non-surgical alternatives to reduce reliance on medications.
• Design and develop robust care plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, tailored fitness, and wellness programs specific to patient requirements.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging environment, assisting patients throughout their rehabilitation to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes through collective expertise.
• Regularly evaluate and document treatment effects, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure ongoing progress and recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments using EMR systems, primarily Web PT, for optimal care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical individuals, and those addressing chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through tailored rehabilitation strategies that enhance their recovery and restore their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, showcasing your commitment to advanced clinical practice and patient care.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong background in developing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR software, specifically Web PT, for precise record-keeping and patient management.
• A deep understanding of evidence-based physical therapy methodologies, keeping abreast of the latest research to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing you with context for the specific challenges faced by patients in recovery.
• Exposure to a variety of patient populations, enabling you to adapt your treatment strategies effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
