Our state-of-the-art facility boasts 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation, equipped with the latest technology and equipment to support our clinicians in providing exceptional patient care. We foster a collaborative and supportive culture among our team of physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring exceptional patient outcomes through unity and shared knowledge.

Work Environment

The work setting is a friendly and inclusive outpatient office located in Elizabeth, NJ. Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. You will be working alongside two other physical therapists and supporting staff, all committed to providing individualized attention and care to our patients. Our atmosphere is patient-focused, promoting open communication and continuous improvement in techniques and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the objectives and requirements of each patient in a healthcare setting.
• Skillfully manage a patient caseload of one per hour, ensuring quality care and attention to detail during each session.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a diverse range of evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress, continually assessing the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on alternative treatment options to minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and achieve comprehensive treatment outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records of services provided, ensuring accurate documentation is upheld and aligns with legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves an outpatient population, focusing on patients recovering from orthopedic issues. This role will involve treating individuals of various ages and backgrounds, helping them overcome physical challenges arising from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our aim is to empower clients by restoring their functional capabilities and promoting independent living.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position, ensuring you are equipped with comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles.
• Must hold current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license, reflecting your commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques, providing patients with the highest standard of care.
• Proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual rehabilitation needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, preparing you for the unique challenges and expectations of this role.
• Hands-on experience with diverse patient populations, enabling you to understand and adapt to varying rehabilitation needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
