Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans that facilitate recovery.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions focused on improving patient mobility and functionality across specialty areas, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Ensure excellent customer service by actively communicating with patients, their families, and caregivers to enhance their understanding of the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and shared expertise.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in outpatient settings, skillfully applying appropriate procedures and techniques to address each patient's unique condition and recovery objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on care regimens, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to promote long-term health.
• Meet designated utilization goals and actively participate in achieving practice-specific business targets.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, those in need of pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation clients, and active athletes requiring specialized sports medicine interventions. Qualifications

• Graduated from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possess a valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Hold Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for engaging with diverse patient populations and colleagues.
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health record systems and word processing applications.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships to help patients achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Exhibit a passion for meaningful patient connection and community involvement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Exposure to various therapy specialties including customized treatment plans, progress tracking, and patient education.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
