Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing functional limitations and disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and provide necessary consultations regarding patients' treatment needs.
• Implement effective treatment strategies, and continuously reassess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Uphold high customer service standards when interacting with patients of diverse demographics, ensuring a respectful and empathetic approach in every engagement.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and billing processes in compliance with regulatory standards while managing and maintaining productivity metrics.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and expand service reach.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending department meetings, participating in in-service training, and pursuing further education opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and support staff ensuring effective departmental resource management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Atrium, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, and sports-related injuries. This role requires applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve mobility, strength, and function across all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice in New Jersey.
