Position Overview

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our Woodbridge facility, where you will find a dynamic ambiance that fosters professional development and teamwork. Our facility comprises modern equipment and spacious treatment areas, creating an ideal setting for rehabilitation and wellness. The staff consists of two highly skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to thoroughly assess their goals and health requirements during consultations, building strong therapeutic relationships.
• Manage a caseload, seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused treatment and recovery plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Deliver effective, evidence-based treatments that improve patients' mobility and range of motion, utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques including manual therapy and targeted exercise protocols.
• Promote patient independence by reducing reliance on medications and exploring meaningful alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, fostering a culture of wellness and healthy living.
• Document patient treatments thoroughly and maintain accurate records to ensure quality improvements in patient care and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and ensure holistic care.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, continuously monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies to promote long-term health benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy are required for this position.
• Strong competency in manual therapy and exercise prescription techniques is essential.
• Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems effectively, with preference for experience with WebPT.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate strong patient engagement and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation for delivering specialized care.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual progress and patient feedback.
• Familiarity with alternative treatment modalities and a holistic approach to patient wellness will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a full benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, and continuing education allowances.
