Work Environment

This role will be conducted onsite at our rehabilitation center in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to recognize their objectives and requirements, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour to provide focused, high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to administer cost-effective therapies that enhance clients' range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Design and execute customized fitness and wellness programs directly tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that minimize reliance on medication and propose non-surgical alternatives.
• Formulate and document detailed treatment plans, constantly evaluating patient progress and adapting strategies as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, helping them optimize their functional capabilities.
• Document all services provided to patients accurately to maintain compliance with legal and facility standards.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey with no record of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of tailored exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating hands-on experience with a variety of conditions.
• Experience in formulating and executing rehabilitation programs to treat musculoskeletal injuries.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
