Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed specifically for sports medicine and orthopedic recovery. We prioritize a patient-centric approach, predominantly catering to individuals with private medical insurance. Our team comprises knowledgeable physical therapists and support staff dedicated to fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere.

Work Environment

You will work onsite at our dynamic rehabilitation center, experiencing a collaborative spirit among our team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The working environment is structured with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a purposeful workflow while maintaining a robust work-lifebalance. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment, providing you with the resources necessary to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to delineate patients' rehabilitation goals and requirements, ensuring a tailored approach to care.
• Manage a consistent patient load, averaging one patient per hour, allowing for focused, personalized treatment sessions.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans by employing diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to meet evolving needs and enhance outcomes.
• Document all services rendered in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring accurate records.
• Promote patient motivation and education surrounding healthy lifestyle choices, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, creating a multidisciplinary approach to optimize patient recovery.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that support rehabilitation goals and reduce dependency on medication or invasive procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients are primarily individuals rehabilitating from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including sports-related traumas. We focus on restoring mobility, enhancing physical function, and improving quality of life. By providing tailored interventions and personalized care, we aim to empower each patient to achieve their rehabilitation goals effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation settings.
• Experience in developing and leading exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Previous engagement in a collaborative healthcare environment, emphasizing interprofessional cooperation.

Compensation and Benefits
