Position Overview

Revive Strength & Mobility Rehab Center is on the lookout for a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our expanding team in Edison, New Jersey. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial part in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will employ evidence-based practices to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapies that prioritize patient outcomes.

Located in Edison, Revive Strength & Mobility Rehab Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Our clinic spans over 5,000 square feet, featuring advanced sports medicine equipment and resources dedicated to improving patient health and performance. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment where a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) work closely to provide exceptional care tailored to each individual.

Work Environment

This role is set in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment that encourages continuous professional development and teamwork. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technology, allowing therapists to deliver innovative care. You will benefit from a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while meeting the increasing demand for our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs, objectives, and medical histories, ensuring personalized care plans.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one client per hour, allowing for comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to improve patient mobility and enhance function.
• Develop and implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions focused on minimizing medication reliance and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient goals, promoting long-term health outcomes.
• Actively motivate patients throughout their treatment journey and monitor progress towards recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure integrated care provision.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary to continuously improve service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic outpatient practice, we primarily serve individuals covered by private medical insurance who are recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries or conditions. Our therapists are dedicated to understanding the specific challenges faced by each patient, enabling them to provide tailored care focused on restoring functionality and enhancing quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and physical assessment.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing individualized exercise programs for diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a thorough understanding of rehabilitation processes.
• Experience using EMR systems effectively to document care and maintain patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive salary package, we provide full benefits, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
