Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to assess their needs and limitations.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans that utilize modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are updated as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Provide education and training to patients and their family members on techniques for managing their condition and improving independence.
• Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in physical therapy practices through continual professional development and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy for New Jersey.

• Basic word processing and computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• A strong willingness to learn, be flexible, and adapt to new situations quickly.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience in physical therapy is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship programs are available.
