Work Environment

This role requires you to work onsite within our outpatient office setting in Metuchen, NJ. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources designed to maximize patient engagement and effectiveness. This role operates on a full-time schedule, from Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their specific needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing treatment programs tailored to a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Delivering exceptional customer service, fostering an environment that encourages patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the use of evidence-based care in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Providing purposeful and skilled therapeutic care within our outpatient office, focusing on effective procedures and techniques that align with the physician's plan of care.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on injury prevention and wellness strategies.
• Meeting established utilization goals alongside other business objectives to contribute to the overall success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population encompassing a wide range of conditions. Our clinic emphasizes a holistic approach to care, serving patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups who seek rehabilitation. Each session will allow you to forge meaningful connections, helping patients regain their mobility and quality of life through tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of practical experience in the field.
• A current CPR certification.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications to facilitate patient documentation and communication.
• Ability to establish strong, trusting relationships with each patient, motivating them to exceed their functional goals.
• A genuine desire to positively connect with people, paired with a commitment to building relationships within the community.

Preferred Experience

Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in outpatient settings, particularly those with expertise in treating orthopedic or sports medicine populations. Compensation and Benefits

Valleywise Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
