Work Environment

This full-time position is set in our outpatient clinic located in Old Bridge, NJ. As a PT in our facility, you will work in a warm and welcoming environment surrounded by a team of skilled healthcare professionals dedicated to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' individual needs and establish treatment goals.
• Administer and modify therapeutic treatments, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique recovery journey of each patient.
• Maintain an efficient patient load of approximately one patient per hour to ensure quality care and attention.
• Implement non-surgical protocols to enhance mobility, emphasizing preventative care and alternative therapies.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities.
• Educate and motivate patients through their therapeutic journey, ensuring they engage in prescribed exercises both in and out of the clinic.
• Track and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients varying from young athletes to seniors seeking to regain their mobility, ensuring tailored interventions based on individual conditions and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
