Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Metuchen, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities and needs, aligning with their personal goals and prescribed medical practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tests to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, directly catering to clients' rehabilitation needs.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established treatment protocols and enhance patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, maintaining an open line of communication with the healthcare team and families involved.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collectively assess and respond to changing patient needs and treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including evaluation reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including home exercises and the use of necessary assistive devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Emphasis is placed on catering to the specific rehab needs of our clients, fostering independence and encouraging active participation in their recovery process. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy licensure in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient therapy.
• Strong capability to assess patient needs and devise effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficient with healthcare documentation processes and adherence to policies governing clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting or outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Classical Aerobics Therapy Gym offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually.
