Work Environment

Our Metuchen rehabilitation facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment resources, enabling our staff to provide thorough evaluations and effective therapy interventions. Working onsite from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, our team enjoys a supportive atmosphere where innovation and teamwork are encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts and relevant laws, ensuring compliance while supervising para-professionals and support staff in accordance with legal requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with varying degrees of functional limitations and disabilities to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Implement individualized therapy protocols based on initial evaluations, leveraging evidence-based practices to adapt to each patient's unique needs.

• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress notes, and discharge plans clearly and accurately, contributing to a cohesive understanding of the patient's journey through care.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to address changes in patients' conditions and referring for medical consultation when warranted.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

• Engage in practices that enhance our facility's accessibility metrics, participating actively in initiatives that remove barriers to care.

• Stay updated on the evolving healthcare landscape to integrate new practices that benefit patient therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve outpatient clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your work will directly influence their journey toward recovery by developing targeted rehabilitation strategies that emphasize mobility, strength, and functional independence. By understanding the diverse backgrounds and specific needs of our patients, you will create a supportive environment that fosters healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.

• Current certification in CPR.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.

• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
