Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Fords, NJ, providing a dynamic and interactive work environment. The facility spans 5000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technologies and equipment, including tools necessary for sports medicine and rehabilitation therapy. Alongside a tight-knit team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will have the support and resources needed to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess and identify the needs and goals of each patient, creating tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Manage a schedule that includes treating one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, individualized treatment and timely documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide evidence-based therapy that improves patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications through novel, non-surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement custom fitness and wellness programs addressing each patient's specific challenges and objectives.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment, helping them set achievable goals and keeping them motivated to reach optimal functional outcomes.
• Document all services provided in compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure detailed patient records for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to discuss patient care strategies and share insights on therapeutic outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed to ensure the highest level of effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population in our facility predominantly includes individuals with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our practice focuses on delivering personalized care to clients covered primarily by private medical insurance, ensuring they receive optimal treatment aligned with their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey without any recorded board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of designing and implementing comprehensive exercise programs.
• Experience in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing therapeutic interventions that enhance patient mobility and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
