Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's physical function, identifying specific goals and treatment needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in patient education, motivating patients to adhere to their exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote comprehensive care and expedite the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapy services and patient care protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting movement and function. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A current Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
