Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is excited to invite experienced and compassionate orthopedic physical therapists to join our dedicated team in Highland Park, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of patients with orthopedic conditions. Work Environment

Located in Highland Park, our rehabilitation facility offers a lively and patient-centric atmosphere. The onsite team encompasses a variety of healthcare professionals dedicated to ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and tools to enhance the treatment experience, including advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations for patients presenting with orthopedic concerns, utilizing evidence-based assessment methods.

• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring the highest level of function while addressing specific patient goals.

• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions based on assessment data, keeping patient safety and efficacy at the forefront, while adapting to their evolving needs.

• Document evaluation findings and treatment protocols accurately and timely within our electronic health record system, ensuring all communications are clear and thorough for continuity of care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Participate actively in discharge planning, ensuring that patients are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary for ongoing recovery.

• Engage in ongoing compliance training, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations affecting physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on outpatient orthopedic patients, which may include individuals recovering from surgery, athletic injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, providing tailored interventions that align with their specific rehabilitation needs. Each patient interaction relies on developing strong therapeutic relationships founded on trust, respect, and open communication.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential.

• A valid CPR certification is necessary for employment.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, candidates with experience in sports rehabilitation or specialized modalities such as dry needling or manual therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and commitment to continued educational growth will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
