Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments, limitations, and functional abilities.
• Design and implement customized physical therapy programs to address specific patient needs, with an emphasis on orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including advanced manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization, to facilitate recovery.
• Develop and document progress reports and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will be working with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence to return to their daily activities and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills, with a strong focus on soft tissue mobilization techniques.
• Strong assessment capabilities suitable for a “Direct Access” setting.

Preferred Experience

Experience with advanced therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to Dry Needling and Functional Movement Screening, is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your workflow efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
