Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Highland Park outpatient office, where you'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment designed for orthopedic rehabilitation, ensuring you have the tools needed to provide high-quality patient care. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique goals.
• Provide specialized orthopedic care, utilizing your advanced skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Manage a varied patient caseload, ensuring personalized attention and prioritizing optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility and functional capabilities while focusing on non-invasive treatment options.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs that align with individual patient needs, considering their lifestyle and activity levels.
• Maintain meticulous documentation practices using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate patient records and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of treatment efficacy and make adjustments to enhance patient recovery trajectories.
• Inspire and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journeys by advocating for their overall health, fitness, and wellness.
• Foster strong collaborative partnerships within the healthcare team to maximize patient care and recovery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of various age groups and activity levels, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs and goals. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of individualized exercise regimens to address specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to optimize documentation processes.
• Commitment to continuing education and proactive engagement with the latest advancements in physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, with a proven track record of effective patient care.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation and knowledge of sports-specific training techniques would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
