Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to patients with orthopedic conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, and sports injuries.
• Utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions to promote recovery, reduce pain, and enhance mobility.
• Educating patients and their families about optimal recovery practices, injury prevention techniques, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitoring patient progress, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Participating in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with a diverse population of adult patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries like total joint replacements, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to return to their daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong clinical knowledge of orthopedic conditions, relevant assessment techniques, and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience with the following will be advantageous:

• Hands-on experience with post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, ultrasound therapy, or sports-specific rehab.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, we offer:
