Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions and functional capabilities, ensuring precise diagnoses and treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Provide hands-on therapy through various modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document detailed records that adhere to regulatory standards while adjusting treatment plans based on patients' evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families regarding home exercise programs, methods for preventing injuries, and lifestyle changes that promote overall health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new techniques and evidence-based practices into your patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve treating orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. You'll work with a diverse range of individuals, from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to elderly patients seeking to regain independence. This role requires a strong commitment to understanding each patient's unique circumstances and tailoring interventions to meet their individual goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• At least two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy or related fields, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional clinical skills capable of performing and evaluating various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that drives positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or specialized training in related therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling or aquatic therapy. Experience in working with technologically advanced rehabilitation equipment is also advantageous.
