Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client evaluations: Assess individual patient conditions through thorough examinations, including mobility assessments, strength testing, and pain evaluations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans: Create customized rehabilitation goals and strategies that align with each patient's specific needs and recovery objectives.
• Implement therapeutic interventions: Provide hands-on therapy, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain.
• Educate patients and families: Teach clients and their caregivers about at-home exercise regimens and self-care techniques that promote long-term recovery and maintenance of health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to provide comprehensive care and ensure continuity of patient management.
• Document patient progress: Maintain precise and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work closely with diverse populations, ensuring that treatment is tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient. You will be instrumental in facilitating recovery and improving functional abilities among individuals seeking to regain their mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from a recognized accredited program is required.
• Active State Licensure: Must hold and maintain an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Clinical Skills: Proven proficiency in managing musculoskeletal conditions and employing manual therapy techniques.
• Therapeutic Modalities: Familiarity with a variety of modalities and therapeutic programs that aid in pain management and rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical Experience: A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting is required, with preference given to candidates with expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
