Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and applying specific assessment techniques to determine patient needs.
• Communicate evaluation results and tailored treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Display proficiency in implementing treatment protocols based on individual evaluation findings, aligned with current best practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure aligned and holistic patient care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to treatment plans.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation to reflect the full patient care journey, including initial assessments, treatment progress, and final evaluations.
• Demonstrate efficient time management to meet productivity goals, uphold a well-maintained schedule, and arrive promptly for patient appointments and team meetings.
• Participate in departmental marketing initiatives and community outreach to build awareness and remove barriers to access care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will cater primarily to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse population, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, all requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to meet their unique recovery goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them regain strength, function, and confidence as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), ensuring compliance with local professional standards and legal requirements.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current CPR certification, ensuring readiness to respond to medical emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with a background in sports rehabilitation, post-operative orthopedic recovery, or specialized manual therapy techniques may find their applications distinguished. Compensation and Benefits
