Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and charting detailed recommendations and results.
• Develop tailored treatment plans and clearly communicate evaluation findings to patients and their families, involving them actively in goal-setting processes.
• Implement effective treatment protocols while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape and individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and quality care, promptly documenting any changes in a patient's condition that necessitate modifications in treatment plans.
• Manage discharge planning, ensuring accurate, thorough documentation of patient care activities, including daily notes and interim progress summaries.
• Meet or exceed department productivity standards while efficiently managing time and schedules; this includes being punctual, prepared for meetings, and actively participating in marketing efforts.
• Engage in departmental goal setting and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Take the initiative in pursuing continuing education and guide students as a clinical instructor, fostering the next generation of physical therapists.
• Deliver exceptional patient experiences by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs and preferences.
• Be an active participant in initiatives aimed at enhancing access to rehabilitation services within the community, utilizing data to improve patient care and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients include active individuals seeking to return to their previous levels of function and athletes requiring specialized rehabilitation services. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journeys, contributing to better physical health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with extensive knowledge of orthopedic therapy techniques, experience with electronic health records, and specialized training in advanced therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
