Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, which is designed to facilitate recovery and healing. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to ascertain their physical capabilities and limitations, including range of motion, strength, and functional mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on empirical evidence, aimed at improving mobility, pain reduction, and overall health enhancement.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, nursing staff, and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, therapeutic exercises to perform at home, and preventive measures for avoiding future injuries.
• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding treatment progress, patient interactions, and outcomes compliant with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Simple Strokes Therapy Center comprise a diverse demographic, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults navigating the effects of aging and chronic conditions such as arthritis. You will be responsible for managing cases that require specialized attention and empathy, ensuring individualized care that accommodates each patient's specific needs and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
