Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient functional abilities, identifying specific mobility limitations and pain sources to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to aid in recovery and promote mobility.
• Coordinate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment protocols, effective home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document clinical assessments, patient progress, and treatment interventions meticulously in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring excellent continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will enable you to develop tailored interventions that consider the unique needs and capabilities of each patient, enhancing their quality of life and promoting functional independence.

Qualifications

• Possession of an advanced degree related to Physical Therapy, including either a Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in outpatient and orthopedic settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective interaction and rapport with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in specific treatment modalities and techniques, particularly related to orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
