The Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center is excited to invite applications for a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist position in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center is a modern, patient-focused orthopedic outpatient practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our 5000 square-foot sports medicine center is designed to foster an environment of recovery and wellness. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive care to patients, primarily funded through private medical insurance. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional standards of patient care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a dynamic treatment space. The center's layout is optimized for patient interaction and rehabilitation, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and tools that facilitate effective treatment interventions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life experience for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs and create tailored treatment objectives to meet their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality interaction and care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that minimize reliance on medication and promote functional recovery.
• Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility.
• Design and recommend customized fitness and wellness programs, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide continuous encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately for effective monitoring and communication.
• Evaluate progress in alignment with recovery goals and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will be primarily serving individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your ability to create effective rehabilitation pathways will significantly impact their healing progress and overall physical well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no history of board or disciplinary issues.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Adept in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in implementing rehabilitation strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills that inspire confidence and build rapport with patients.

Compensation and Benefits
