Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center, located in the heart of Elizabeth, New Jersey. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our patients' journeys towards improved mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life. This position involves direct patient care within an orthopedic outpatient setting, where you will combine your clinical skills with compassion to deliver effective rehabilitation interventions.

Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center is a premier outpatient clinic dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals with various orthopedic issues. With a commitment to excellence, our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is designed to support a wide range of therapeutic activities and practices. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals, including two experienced Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering comprehensive patient care. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to dedicate time and resources to enhance each individual's rehabilitative journey.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by a collaborative and supportive culture focused on patient-first care. Located in a well-equipped outpatient office, our center is designed to facilitate an effective treatment process, featuring advanced therapy equipment and ample space for physical activities. As part of a close-knit team, you will enjoy working alongside other health professionals who are committed to the highest standards of patient outcomes. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and specific orthopedic conditions.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention and evidence-based care.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to promote healing and enhance patient mobility.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for improving their physical health and preventing further injuries.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs to address specific goals and enhance overall patient health.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in regular communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering an environment of positivity and support.
• Promote independent exercise regimens for patients to encourage continued improvement beyond clinical visits.
• Document all treatment plans and progress notes accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from athletes seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries to older adults managing mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must be a certified, licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to employ evidence-based practice.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing personalized treatment and exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively assess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• A strong background in patient education and empowerment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
