Position Overview

Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art home care facility in Newark, New Jersey. This role will play a crucial part in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through personalized care and evidence-based intervention strategies. Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite, catering to our patients directly in their home environments. With a focus on personalized therapy, you'll have the opportunity to work within 5000 square feet of advanced sports medicine facilities custom tailored for rehabilitation and recovery services. Our work culture fosters collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence in patient care. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, you'll find a supportive team dynamic that encourages proactive engagement in addressing patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately identify patients' goals and treatment needs.
• Manage an effective caseload, attending to one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality individualized care.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements and treatment objectives.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques focused on promoting improved range of motion, mobility, and overall physical health.
• Design and execute fitness and wellness programs aligned with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Documentation of all patient interactions and treatment services provided in accordance with standards.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Participate in collaborative meetings with interdisciplinary teams to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices to ensure cutting-edge treatment methodologies are applied.
• Motivate patients to adopt a proactive approach toward their physical health and lifestyle changes throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will work closely with patients to foster a supportive environment that encourages their active participation in recovery, embracing methods that minimize reliance on medications and explore holistic, non-surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintains a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and experience in delivering orthopedic services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing tailored exercise protocols.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software or similar electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience in creating innovative patient care programs that facilitate recovery and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
