Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Position Overview

Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness in Woodbridge, New Jersey, is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, ensuring that they return to their daily activities with improved mobility and functionality.

Our practice is uniquely positioned to deliver specialized care in a modern, state-of-the-art facility spanning over 5,000 square feet. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to patients primarily covered by private medical insurance. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to ensure top-notch care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office located in the heart of Woodbridge, NJ, where we utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and a patient-centric approach to therapy. The clinic is designed to foster a welcoming and healing atmosphere, equipped with the latest in rehabilitation technology, which aids our therapists in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to identify their specific needs and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address individual therapeutic objectives for improved mobility and functionality.
• Manage a caseload effectively with a focus on providing one-on-one attention to each patient for approximately one hour per session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver tailored interventions aimed at reducing pain and enhancing mobility without reliance on medications.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Create and implement unique wellness programs designed to promote patients' long-term health, strengthen their physical capabilities, and encourage a balanced lifestyle.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team and with patients.
• Encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, instilling motivation and confidence as they work towards their rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and postoperative surgical rehabilitation. Our focus is on providing personalized care that considers each patient's unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals, promoting their overall well-being through proactive engagement and education.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of board disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and in creating targeted exercise protocols.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A background in designing fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
