Work Environment

The successful candidate will work within our expansive 5,000 square-foot outpatient facility designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our collaborative and supportive team includes two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a balanced work-life dynamic while serving our growing patient base. As we see an increased demand for specialized care, this role is critical in sustaining our commitment to excellence in physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load with a focus on quality, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives dedicated attention.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities and manual techniques to facilitate patient recovery and improve mobility.
• Create and modify fitness and wellness programs specifically designed for each patient's unique needs.
• Engage patients in their rehabilitation process, motivating them to achieve their functional goals.
• Thoroughly document treatments and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards, using systems such as WebPT for electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise and implement optimal patient care strategies.
• Monitor patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessment results and patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient cases, predominantly involving patients recovering from injuries or surgeries related to the musculoskeletal system. You will provide personalized, evidence-based interventions aimed at minimizing pain, enhancing recovery, and preventing re-injury. Fostering a supportive environment, you will promote the importance of movement and physical activity in achieving a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Clean professional record free from disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly valued.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing comprehensive rehabilitation regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and contribution to our team.
