Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based interventions.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to maximize patient mobility and strength.
• Provide education and resources to patients on non-surgical treatment options to minimize reliance on medications.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure that each individual receives ample time and attention during sessions.
• Utilize EMR software such as Web PT for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance overall patient care and outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery.
• Engage with patients, providing motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related conditions. We treat a diverse clientele, ranging from active athletes to older adults seeking to restore mobility after injuries. Our therapists are committed to understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient, enabling them to create effective and individualized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong command of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for meticulous record-keeping and documentation.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy modalities and methodologies supported by up-to-date research findings.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing personalized patient treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
