Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite, providing hands-on care to patients in the clinic. Our work environment promotes teamwork and collaboration, allowing therapists to interact with other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of care. With work hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, this schedule supports a balanced work-life dynamic while meeting our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical needs, developing personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and health conditions.
• Administer various manual therapy techniques and exercise programs specifically tailored to enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Engage actively with patients during therapy sessions, offering encouragement and motivation to ensure their compliance and enthusiasm towards recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly Web PT, maintaining comprehensive records of treatment effectiveness.
• Promote a holistic view of health by educating patients on strategies to improve their overall wellness, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and balance coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies that can optimize each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Evaluate treatment programs continuously to adapt and refine approaches based on patient feedback and recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean history free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of various rehabilitation modalities applicable to orthopedic care.
• Capability to effectively employ EMR systems, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Adept in the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy, ensuring treatment strategies are supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation and functional movement screenings.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful long-term treatment plans and exercise regimens for a varied patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and educational background.
