Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our busy outpatient office, where you will be part of a dynamic team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical capabilities and limitations, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients effectively, ensuring that each client receives dedicated, one-on-one attention during their hour-long therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies that enhance mobility, strength, and functional performance.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's objectives.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them through motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment services provided, in compliance with administrative protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient rehabilitation setting, you will primarily work with patients covered by private medical insurance, addressing a range of orthopedic conditions. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their quality of life by promoting rehabilitation, enhancing their physical function, and aiding in their return to everyday activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to current evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized exercise regimens that take into account the specific needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software such as WebPT is advantageous.
• A proactive approach to staying updated on the latest practices in physical therapy and patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting the level of skill and experience that you bring to the role.
