This full-time position involves providing high-quality outpatient rehabilitation services, specializing in orthopedic care. Work Environment

Our facility boasts an onsite clinical setting characterized by modern equipment and resources aimed at providing effective rehabilitation treatments. As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and sports trainers, all dedicated to creating an environment that emphasizes positive patient outcomes. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and individual needs to develop customized treatment plans.
• Gather and analyze patient histories to inform therapeutic strategies, ensuring that each treatment is aligned with patients' personal goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy modalities, exercise programs, and modalities aimed at enhancing mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adhering to treatment plans, motivating them to engage actively in their recovery.
• Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically Web PT, to document treatment sessions accurately, enhancing communication and continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate additional services or referrals that support comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our outpatient practice is on orthopedic patients who benefit from tailored rehabilitation strategies. These patients often present with conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management and injury rehabilitation. Our team emphasizes non-surgical treatment options, empowering patients to engage actively in their recovery and optimally restore function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active and flawless license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practices and a passion for continuous learning to enhance clinical skills and patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a proven track record of patient success stories.
• Familiarity with injury prevention techniques and sports rehabilitation.
• Skills in developing and implementing programs that enhance patients' physical fitness and overall wellness.

Compensation and Benefits
