Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is set in our outpatient facility in Edison, New Jersey—a community-oriented clinic designed to provide a comfortable environment for patients. The office operates Monday through Friday, ensuring a consistent schedule for both staff and clients. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Body Orthopedic Pain Management, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities and design personalized treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Implementing innovative physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and improving muscle function.
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are adhered to and goals are met.
• Assessing clients' home environments to recommend appropriate modifications for foster independence during rehabilitation.
• Delivering in-home therapy sessions as prescribed, adapting techniques to individual patient circumstances.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and specialized treatments such as traction and massages.
• Evaluating and calibrating prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending adjustments when necessary to enhance patient mobility.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to comprehensive care plan development and revisions based on ongoing evaluations.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate clinical records, submitting documentation as required to meet compliance standards.
• Educating clients and their families on therapy techniques, the utilization of devices, and overall wellness strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
